Cryptocurrency trading can be incredibly volatile, with prices capable of surging and falling 50% in a matter of weeks.

Business Insider asks Wendy about her favorite phone apps for trading and tracking cryptocurrencies, as well as keeping up to date with the latest news and developments in the fast-growing space.


When it comes to staying informed about what’s going on in crypto, Wendy informs that she practices social listening, where she keeps tabs on popular topics that are currently trending on social media to better understand the psychology of the wider market at given points in time.


For specific apps however, Wendy said she enjoys Blockfolio (now FTX) because it offers both trending news headlines and a place to keep track of her long term holdings.


As for excursions into DeFi, she works from her Metamask wallet to access Ethereum projects like 1inch and Uniswap, and Binance Smart Chain projects like PancakeSwap.


Wendy is all about security, especially when dealing in crypto, and she advises everyone to take all of the necessary measures needed to amply protect yourself and your investments—for her, this even means keeping a second phone dedicated to crypto and disconnected from her personal information.
